FRANCHISE LOAN SPECIALIST

New York, Atlanta, Miami
The Franchise Loan Specialist is directly responsible for developing a consistent pipeline of leads to be converted to loan applications. A “hunter” mentality is required for seeking out quality applicants through his or her network and networking ability. The Franchise Loan Specialist is responsible for generating quality leads and will be held to exacting standards, including minimum monthly lead generation and loan closings.  show more ▼

The Franchise Loan Specialist must present well, have exceptional written and oral communication skills and be conversant in the services offered. In addition, the Franchise Loan Specialist will be required to document and submit detailed client contact reports.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Daily documentation of number and quality of calls, follow-up conversations and client contact through CRM software.
  • Willingness and ability to access your network of franchise industry professionals.
  • Willingness and ability to advance your network of franchise industry professionals through social media marketing, cold calling, attending industry events, identifying and contacting franchise business developers at the corporate level and interacting and developing business with franchise brokers in your geographic region and nationally.
  • Ability to identify and act upon lead opportunities.
  • Willingness to participate in all business development sessions.
  • Willingness to be held to exacting standards including minimum monthly lead generation and loan closings.
  • Ability to work with and take direction from entire Business Development Team.
QUALIFICATIONS College degree required. Must have several years experience researching, identifying and contacting companies and proven track record of arranging meetings with C-Level decision makers. Franchise experience is required along with a deep catalog of industry contacts. Franchise Brokerage experience a plus.

Compensation commensurate with experience. Commission issued at the close of every successful loan. Other benefits negotiable based on experience and proven performance.

DIRECTOR OF BANKING

The Director of Banking will serve in a key leadership role within the company. You will manage all banking client engagements from inception through closing. A candidate must have a proven track record of procuring financing. You must possess deep banking contacts being able to leverage these contacts into readily available loan placement sources. You must be an accomplished professional, present extremely well, have exceptional written and oral communication skills and be conversant in the services offered. Additionally, you must be able to create customized financial solutions to serve our clients’ diverse financing needs.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Lead on a variety of transactions in all stages, from initial client contact trough transaction closings.
  • Actively assist in business development to market banking services to prospective clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential referral sources in order to generate deal flow opportunities.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards being able to clearly and concisely communicate all requirements, regulatory and underwriting, to assist decision makers during their finance transactions.
  • Extreme attention to detail with daily documentation of number and quality of calls, follow-up conversations and client contact through CRM software.
  • Willingness and ability to access your network of banking professionals.
  • Willingness and ability to advance your network of banking professionals through social media marketing, cold calling, attending industry events, identifying and contacting banking professionals within your geographic region and nationally.
  • Having direct access to loan and other funding sources to service our clients’ financing needs.
  • Willingness and ability to manage an Investment Banking team.
  • Willingness to be held to exacting standards including minimum monthly lead generation and loan closing requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Minimum 5 years experience at a regional investment banking firm with M&A, LBO & MBO experience. Proven track record in closing investment banking transactions. Deep understanding of the capital marketplace with the ability to create and implement customized financial solutions to service our clients’ needs. Possess a deep network of financing sources readily able to provide financing. Possess a thorough understanding of acquisition and M&A financing able to offer complex debt / equity / restructuring solutions. Ability to negotiate term sheets and procure financing for SEMs through Mid-Market transactions. Possess all necessary FINRA and other required Certifications.
